Mr. Chang holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, San Diego and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. Before joining Austin Capital Partners, Phil has worked in Strategic Finance, M&A, Business Consulting, and Private Equity across various industries.

Since bootstrapping his first company in college, Noah has co-founded companies across payments-tech, health-tech, prop-tech and ag-tech. He founded Candor Ventures, an early stage investment fund and venture studio along with DevBase, a staff augmentation firm, both of which were acquired. Noah runs Venture Candor, a venture capital podcast, sat on the Board of Entrepreneurs Organization, a global non-profit empowering entrepreneurs and frequently guest lectures on Technology Entrepreneurship & Investing.

Mr. Park is a Tulane University graduate with a Bachelor of Science with a focus on mathematical statistics. David has spent over 30 years working in the financial services industry starting his career analyzing and trading derivatives and working for a national wall-street firm before becoming CIO of a merchant banking company investing in mid-market companies. As Chief Investment Officer he focused heavily on technology companies with particular focus on middleware technology, Robotic Process Automation and Machine Learning.

Michael brings a decade of Financial Services and FinTech experience to Austin Capital. Before joining the team, Michael was an early-stage B2B FinTech investor at Fin Capital – where he was responsible for sourcing investments, maintaining board responsibilities and adding operating value across the portfolio of companies. Previously, Michael was an investment banker at Financial Technology Partners, where he advised on sell-side, buy-side & capital formation engagements such as Mastercard’s acquisition of Finicity, Rocket’s acquisition of Truebill, Ladder’s $100M Series D fundraising, and more. Additionally, Michael has held roles at Buckingham Research Group as VP of Equity Research and began his career at Point72 Asset Management. Michael holds a BS from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics.

Samuel comes to Austin Capital after spending the last 10 years working across the financial landscape. Prior to joining the Austin Capital team, Samuel worked for Caprock – an $11bn multifamily office, where he acted as an outsourced CIO/CFO, portfolio manager and as a business development lead. Prior to joining Caprock, Samuel worked for Goldman Sachs in the Equity Derivatives and Synthetic Products Group. Additionally, Samuel began his career in Investment Banking at M2O Private Fund Advisors, focusing on raising institutional capital for lower-middle market Private Equity funds. Samuel holds a BS from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a major in Finance and a minor in History.
